English football team Chelsea Football Club has unveiled plans for four residential skyscrapers in Dubai’s Maritime City, which will feature a rooftop football pitch.

The towers will house 1,400 homes and are the first branded residential project from Chelsea Football Club (Chelsea FC) .

Dubbed “the world’s first football-themed branded residences” by property development company DAMAC, the 130-metre-high skyscrapers will be located in Dubai’s Maritime City and have views of the Arabian Gulf.

The towers will have a rooftop football pitch, as well as an athlete performance centre, Chelsea Sports Bar, private cinema and an Aquarium Lounge.

The 1,400 residences will be divided into one, two and three-bedroom apartments and were designed as “the ultimate branded living experience”, according to DAMAC.

“This partnership with DAMAC signals an exciting chapter in the Chelsea story, bringing our club’s spirit and prestige into the real estate world,” Chelsea FC president of commercial Todd Kline said.

“Chelsea Residences by DAMAC will give our fans and discerning buyers the chance to become part of the Chelsea legacy in an entirely new and extraordinary way.”

DAMAC’s managing director of sales and development Amira Sajwani said the project “will set new benchmarks for branded residences”.

“Chelsea Residences by DAMAC is the epitome of our philosophy to bring global partnerships to life through world-class design and lifestyle experiences,” she said.

“Our collaboration with Chelsea FC is a first-of-the-kind and offers an unmatched residential opportunity for buyers who value exclusivity and quality. With Dubai’s reputation as a leading global city for luxury real estate, we are confident this project will set new benchmarks for branded residences.”

Renders show the towers featuring Chelsea FC branding on their entrances along with branded swimming pools.

A statue of a blue lion, Chelsea Football Club’s symbol, will be placed in front of the towers, which will have details in the club’s blue colour.

The skyscrapers will also feature wellness offerings, including a cryotherapy centre, aerial yoga studio and forest relaxation pods, as well as a number of dining spaces. Its Captain Table events will be hosted by “Chelsea legends”, DAMAC said.

Leading brands have increasingly been launching branded accommodation, with fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana unveiling a supertall skyscraper in Miami and car maker Mercedes-Benz launching its first US residential skyscraper in the same city.
