A five-alarm fire broke out in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, on Sunday, September 22, near to where the Baltimore Comic-Con was taking place.
Footage by Jimmy Palmiotti, a writer who spoke at multiple events at Baltimore Comic-Con, shows the fire burning at South Eutaw Street, near the Baltimore Convention Center.
“There’s our hotel, and there’s next door. Wow, that is crazy,” Palmiotti says in the footage.
More than 240 personnel from multiple agencies responded to the blaze, which involved upwards of five businesses in the area, according to The Baltimore Sun.
