Workers from Aulani, Four Seasons Resort, Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club and others came together to participate in the 25th annual Thanksgiving Outreach program to prepare the hot meals.

How to avoid spending all day in the kitchen this Thanksgiving

Leeward Community College students volunteered their time to cook 2,700 pounds of turkey, 270 pounds of ham, 600 pounds of rice, 400 pounds of corn, 100 pans of pumpkin pie and more than 100 gallons of gravy.

Once the food was prepared, UPS drivers delivered 450 trays of food to 25 locations from Waianae to Waipahu.

We’re so fortunate to be celebrating 25 years of giving, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to see how this tradition has brought people together over the years. The spirit of aloha and giving back is at the heart of our resort’s mission, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of so many.

Sweetie Nelson, director of destination marketing for Ko Olina Resort
