Online travel agency MakeMyTrip reported record financial results for the 2024-25 fiscal year, driven by strong growth in international outbound and spiritual travel segments.
CEO Rajesh Magow said the company identified the underpenetrated international outbound market as a key growth opportunity. As a result, international air ticketing revenue rose by over 33%, while international hotel revenue jumped more than 65% year-on-year. The international business now contributes 25% of total revenue.
To support this growth, MakeMyTrip added more directly contracted accommodations in destinations with direct flight links. Popular travel packages to Thailand, Singapore, and the Maldives also performed well.
