Beryl Winds Batter Downtown Houston


Tropical Storm Beryl battered downtown Houston with strong, gusty winds and heavy rain as the storm tracked north over Texas on Monday morning, July 8.

Though Beryl had been downgraded from a hurricane, weather officials said heavy rain, floods and tropical-storm-force winds would continue inland.
